The Woodsongs Coffeehouse Dalton Chapter announces the return of their annual winter concert series to benefit Providence Ministries. The regionally acclaimed concert series will feature emerging and established performers of Americana, Country, and Bluegrass music. The concerts will be held in the intimate and eclectic setting of the historic Dalton Freight Depot located at 305 S. Depot Street in downtown Dalton Georgia.
On Saturday January 28th, North Carolina singer/songwriter Donna Hughes will perform. Donna has written over 300 songs during her career. Alison Krauss & Union Station recorded one of Donna’s songs that appeared on an album that was awarded a Grammy for Country Album of the Year. Also appearing will be The Gobblers’ Knob String Band. Fans of Tom Brown and David Crawford will not want to miss their latest comedic musical review.
The concert series is sponsored in part by the Dalton Downtown Development Authority (DDDA) and the Dalton Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).
Performances will begin at 7:00 PM with doors opening at 6:00PM. Tickets are $15.00 for Adults and $8.00 for Students and will be available at the door. Reserved table seating is provided for season ticket holders and can be purchased on-line for $50.00 each or $150.00 for a family of four.
