Whitfield-Murray Historical Society Auction

For the first time ever, the Whitfield-Murray Historical Society will have an auction of donated items to benefit the Hamilton House, Dalton's oldest home.  There  will be furniture-sofs, antiques organs, other pianos and organs, furniture, antique toys and dolls, Civil War prints and framed art such as a large framed picture and General Robert e. Lee and a child, a framed print of Lee and His Generals, prints of the Clinch Rifles. There are Gone With the Wind commemorative plates and a Scarlett doll. All of the items are of top quality (this is not a rummage sale).  Items can be previewed November 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 715 Chattanooga Avenue in Dalton at the WMHS History Center (Crown Gards & Archives).
