The Georgia Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force is working to combat commercial sexual exploitation in partnership with the business community and BEST: Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking. Our goal is to align and equip leaders to use the power of business to prevent human trafficking. The BEST Employers Alliance is the first public-private partnership in the nation to work across industries to prevent sex trafficking and sex buying. This Alliance supports participating organizations as they adopt appropriate policies protecting their businesses from the following risks: • Decreased productivity • Legal and financial risks • Hostile work environment • Negative effect on the company’s reputation BEST Employers Alliance Partners have access to a self-assessment tool, detailed BEST Practices, including sample practices by leading employers, vetted policy language, and educational resources. Please join us in learning more about this issue, potential risks and impact to your company, and how you can become engaged to be a part of the solution as a socially conscious business.
