Job Description
* Clean areas such as rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways.
* Empty and clean wastebaskets
* Transport trash to disposal areas
* Change linen
* Replenish supplies such as linens, bathroom items.
* Maintain storage areas and carts
* Dust and wiped cleas furniture, fixtures, window sills, wall hangings, fixtures.
* Remove smudges from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, light switches.
* Use prescribed solutions to cleas windows.
* Sweep or vacuum stairways
* Damp dust telephones
* Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations
* Inform supervisor when supplies are needed
* Store chemicals according to instructions
* Follow standards and procedures for using specific chemicals
* Know emergency procedures for chemical misuse
* Use tools such as hand sprayers, vacuum cleaners, brooms.
