Visit the 1848 Blunt House to experience the infancy and early childhood collection of long, long ago. Clothes include vintage christening gowns, caps, shoes; baby items include silver diaper pins, toys, books, and furniture and much, much more are on display until the end of March. Items from Dalton families include baby clothes from Mrs. Sherwood (Jean) Jones from the trunk of Rena West Stubbs; a 1909 crib from Troup County; a baby coat from Ethel Sapp Farrar; two McCutcheon family dresses, and a silk baby coat from Mary Gene Dykes. Where else can you see a Where can you see a handmade high chair with a hand cane rushed seat such as your great, great grandmother might have sat in? Or examine a vintage Victorian wicker baby buggy? Step back in time any Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment until the end of March.
