Wrens Nest Center for Wellbeing in Dalton, Ga., will host "The Science of Wellbeing," a workshop held Saturday, September 20 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Featured speaker and Clinical Ayurveda Specialist Jaya Ramamurthy will offer "Ayurveda 101," a presentation and demonstration of the core principles of Ayurveda, an ancient lifestyle science from India that offers a holistic approach to complete health and wellness. Following, participants can learn about the science behind the services provided at Wrens Nest and the research that connects them to wellbeing. Ramamurthy will be joined by an expert panel which will discuss "The Science of Wellbeing," with a focus on integrative medicine, yoga, psychotherapy, acupuncture and meditation. Wrens Nest partners: R. Blaine Minor, MD; Cynthia Michaels, OTR/L, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, PYT; Marcia Evans, RYT, Robert D. Ryan, LCSW; Susan Ewing, LCSW; Christine Pope, L.Ac.; and Linda Norman, DO will host a roundtable discussion and answer questions from attendees.
