Pillowcases to Pin Cushions Interested in needlework? An exhibit of linens, handwork, and sewing related items will be shown at the Blunt House, 506 S. Thornton Avenue in Dalton until November 1. The Blunt house is open every Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On display are antique table linens, kitchen linens, bed linens, handkerchiefs including a ?mourning handkerchief,? tatting, embroidery, ?drawn work,? hooked mats, Blunt and Kirby monograms, hand crocheted lace trims and appliqué work. Two unique German porcelain pincushions are part of the display as well as Miss Emery?s handiwork standing basket and Doris Litzinger?s handiwork. The Blunt House also has an antique spinning wheel and weasel to wind the yarn, old wooden ironing boards, and many other household items.
