DOCUP (the Dalton Organization of Churches United for People) began in 1987 to help Whitfield County residents in temporary financial crisis. All of our funding is used in Whitfield County to assist with rent, utilities and prescriptions, but the help we provide goes beyond financial assistance. We provide budgeting, classes and referrals to other agencies.
The Golf Tournament provides an essential part of the funding we use for assistance, if you do business in Dalton we need your help to provide these services!
