Are You an Emotionally Intelligent Leader?

How assertive are you when you have to deal with difficult situations at work?  Do you cry, scream, or avoid the issue until the problem finally explodes?  Are you optimistic or do people call you "Linus" behind your back for clinging to your "emotional blanket"?  You are not the only person on earth who feels like this.  Being able to manage your emotions is a step in the right direction to becoming a strong leader.  This workshop will help you become more self-aware and give you a better understanding of how your emotions impact your leadership style.  If you are a manager, supervisor, or an informal leaders, your emotions play a huge role in your ability to influence others and foster high levels of collaboration and productivity in the workplace.  Join us on this emotional rollercoaster ride!  (Note:  Emotional Intelligence Assessment is included and must be taken on-line before class.)

  • Define Emotional Intelligence
  • Discuss how your ability to control and manage your emotions impacts your leadership style.
  • Explore how Emotional Intelligence impacts collaboration and productivity.
