24 Hours of Hope is a fundraiser to raise money and awareness for the services provided by the Carter Hope Center. The Carter Hope Center provides residential treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Addiction affects the addict, their family and our community.
During the 24 Hours of Hope we will be utilizing treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes at The Rush Fitness Complex, at Walnut Square Mall in Dalton, Georgia for 24 consecutive hours.
Recovering addict Gregg Ellis, will attempt to run 5 consecutive marathons or 131 miles, during the 24 hour time frame and you can run/walk/bike/jog alongside Gregg for $1.00 per minute.
The event will begin on 5:00pm, Friday August 31st and will conclude at 5:00pm on Saturday, September 1, 2012.
