Recovering addict and former Carter Hope Center client, Gregg Ellis is no stranger to endurance events. Gregg achieved the very first Indoor Iron Distance Event at the Bradley Wellness Center last year and this year he's back with a new endurance event. This time he's joined by Run for God founder Mitchell Hollis as both men attempt to run for 24 hours, in what Carter Hope is calling the "24 Hours of Hope"
Friday Jul 8, 2011 Saturday Jul 9, 2011
The run starts at 5:00pm and lasts for the next 24 hours. Recovering addict and Carter Hope Center client Gregg Ellis and Run for God founder Mitchell Hollis will attempt a 24 hour run to benefit the Carter Hope Center. Partner Bradley Wellness Center will host the run. Both Gregg and Mitchell will run side by side on treadmills in the gym of the Wellness Center. 10 additional treadmills will encircle the runners and be available for other runners to join in. Runners will be asked to get donations and must contribute a minimum of $1.00 per minute of time on the treadmills.
Gregg and Mitchell will also be accepting pledges for their time on an hourly basis.
Spnosorships are available! Treadmill sponsors are $500.00 and banner sponsors are $250.00.
