DESCRIPTION:City of Dalton registered voters will consider the proposal of a $50 million General Obligation (GO) Bond to build a new grade 6-7 school to alleviate overcrowding at Dalton Middle School and Dalton High School. With Dalton High being the largest high school in northwest Georgia and Dalton Middle being the 7th largest middle school in Georgia\, the district would like to reconfigure grades levels at the secondary level to reduce the student size to improve quality\, safety and academic performance.
