DESCRIPTION:Jeffrey M. Humphreys is director of the Selig Center for Economic Growth at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. He serves as a member of the Council of Economic Advisors for Governor Deal\, and previously for Governor Purdue. He has published over 250 applied and academic studies regarding market research\, economics\, transportation\, and economic development. Dr. Humphreys is nationally renowned for his detailed estimates of the spending power of African-Americans\, Latinos\, and Asian-Americans. Within Georgia\, he is recognized for his detailed economic forecasts and has written the monthly "State of the Economy" column for Georgia Trend magazine for 22 years.\n\n \n\nStephen Kuzniak has served as a researcher at the Terry College's Selig Center Economic Growth since 2009\, where he studies economic impact analysis\, economic forecasting and behavioral risk analysis. A native of Dalton\, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in financial planning and consumer economics from the University of Georgia. Prior to his time with the Selig Center\, Kuzniak worked at the Center for Agribusiness and Economic Development in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at UGA. He holds a master's degree in applied economics and a bachelor's degree in agricultural business\, both from the University of Georgia.
